Millis Bicycle Safety

Each year, through grants and donations, Millis Officer Sgt. McGowan is able to present a bike safety day, including distribution of free helmets to those that need them. Initially, it started out as a cooperative effort between Millis and to the Millis Youth Commission.

For the past two years, we have also expanded the program to participate in a Knights of Columbus safety day. Both of these events in are very well received, and over 300 new helmets and have been given out to kids that need them since we started this program.
